In its first few weeks of service, it has been to multiple sites including lifting part of a RAM car at the Port Talbot steelworks, working in tandem with a tower crane to remove a redundant pipe from a railway possession, and replacing a gearbox on a wind turbine – an interesting assignment as access was a problem and the AC 7.450-1 was favoured over other competing models of similar size due to its compactness.
